I have worked as an account director for a major regional consultancy and as head of PR in local government and housing. My experience spans everything from business-to-business PR to local press relations and the sharp end of the political agenda, dealing with the Today programme, Newsnight and the national press.

Past employers include Barkers PR, the London Borough of Sutton and the Chartered Institute of Housing.

As a freelance consultant I have worked with Bedfordshire County Council, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and (with Grant, Riches) the NHS Executive. I've had Home Office media training for emergencies. With more than 15 years in the business, I'm a full member of the CIPR.

Copywriting and editorial services
I was launch editor of LBS magazine for the London Borough of Sutton and subsequently edited HFM magazine for the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for a year. I co-wrote and co-edited the visitor guide to Hammersmith & Fulham and was a co-author of a visitor guide to the UK for VisitBritain. Other clients include Camden Primary Care Trust in London and Habinteg and Penrose Housing Associations, for whom I have written annual reports.
